Embedded operating guidance

• Treat every duration as crew-hours: two workers occupied for one clock hour consume two crew-hours. Use current route and site estimates instead of assuming every chimney takes the same time.
• Calculate each service price floor as direct job cost plus total per-job crew-hours multiplied by labor cost plus overhead allocation. Apply the uncertainty buffer, then round upward to the selected quote increment.
• Safe remaining capacity equals available crew-hours minus booked service, booked travel and setup, booked cleanup, and the capacity reserve. Clamp a negative result to zero; feasible simple-sweep and multi-service counts are the whole jobs that independently fit within that remainder.
• Day utilization equals booked crew-hours plus the planned mixed workload, divided by available crew-hours. Show an overload warning when booked work, planned work, and the reserve exceed available crew-hours; reschedule work or add confirmed capacity before accepting the mix.
• Report capacity_overload as the bottleneck when the planned mix does not fit. Otherwise compare combined service, travel and setup, and cleanup crew-hours and report the largest component, including ties. Verify current costs, access, chimney condition, equipment needs, route constraints, and crew availability before confirming a quote or booking.
